Steven J. Smith, M.D., FACS
Plastic Surgeon
Steven J. Smith, M.D.,FACS, a native of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, established his plastic surgery practice in Knoxvile in 1993. Prior to that time, Dr. Smith was an Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Smith's training includes residencies in surgery, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), and plastic surgery. He also completed a fellowship in craniofacial plastic surgery. Dr. Smith is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Smith is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, he is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Smith has shared his expertise in plastic surgery by participating in volunteer medical trips to China and Chile. He continues to be active in educational programs both nationally and internationally. Through training, experience and continual interaction with plastic surgery colleagues and other healthcare professionals, Dr. Smith is able to provide each patient with the most current approach to plastic surgery. |

Catherine Roberts
Financial Coordinator
Catherine is a native of Knoxville and a graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a BS in Marketing/Management. She currently resides in Knoxville with her husband, and enjoys being a mother and grandmother. Catherine joined Dr. Smith's staff in 2007. She is committed to presenting a complete understanding of all financial related aspects of patient treatment to ensure a satisfied and positive experience. |

Christina Johnston
Registered Nurse
Christi was born and raised in East Tennessee and currently lives in Knoxville with her husband and son. She earned her Registered Nursing license in 1997 from Roane State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree. Her experience includes medical/surgical nursing, gastroenterology, and oral surgery. Christi joined Dr. Smith's staff in 2011, and enjoys the process of directing patients through a positive surgical experience. |

Kimberly Jones
Medical Assistant
Kimberly is originally from California and attended High School in Reno, Nevada. After High School she joined the Military and served eight years in the Coast Guard. During her active duty, Kimberly served as a Boatswain's Mate where she did search and rescue as well as federal law enforcement. After an honorable discharge, she obtained her A.A.S degree and her R.T.(R) state license at Roane State in 2010.She helps comfort patients and makes sure they have the best surgical experience possible. Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. |

Deanna Rose
Medical Assistant
Deanna relocated from her home town of Chattanooga, TN in 1991. She achieved her certification in Surgical Technology in 2000 and has worked in both surgical and non-surgical clinic settings. Deanna joined Dr. Smith's staff in 2011 and is focused on providing outstanding patient care through all phases of the surgery process. |
